Camelot - Mont Tremblant-
Rated 3 stars by Tourisme Quebec
Camelot is a beautiful, peaceful retreat on a large, secluded lot with a million-dollar view. There are large mature trees on the lot, which is otherwise covered with grass, mosses and flowers. The property is on Lac Duhamel and has a small private beach. A swimming dock is put out in the lake each summer and there is a rowboat and canoe to explore the lake in. Yes there is fishing on the lake but you would need a licence.
In the winter, Camelot becomes a ski chalet, a winter wonderland where people can snow shoe, toboggan, cross country ski and skate on the lake.
This retreat has a Three Stars rating from Tourisme Quebec, #211886. It is an allergy free zone, so no pets are allowed on the property; and people are asked not to smoke in the house. The house has three bedrooms with a double bed in each room. One bedroom also has a day bed in it with a roll out mattress underneath. There's a large living-room with a fire place, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, a small reading nook and an enclosed porch.
This is a great retreat with all kinds of amenities like; a TV, DVD and VHS players, cable, a stereo with a turntable and a bunch of old records and even an Eight Track Tape with some old tapes. For inclement weather, there is also a fireplace and all kinds of books, magazines and games. On a clear night you can almost reach out and touch the stars from the large deck overlooking the lake or from around the fire-pit in the garden.
Camelot is eight minutes from the ski slopes on the south side of Mont Tremblant, five minutes from two world class golf courses and St. Jovite, a quaint little village with all kinds of amenities and up scale shops. There are also all kinds of biking, hiking, cross-country ski trails, and dog sledding in the area.
